Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Notice it says baptized into Christ not into water.
In the Strongs Concordance word # 1519 the greek word εις eis ice is used in many different ways in the english of the KJV Bible. Those ways are listed below.

“For” (as used in #Acts 2:38 “for the forgiveness … “) could have two meanings. If you saw a poster saying “Jesse James wanted for robbery,” “for” could mean Jesse is wanted so he can commit a robbery, or is wanted because he has committed a robbery. The later sense is the correct one. So too in this passage, the word “for” signifies an action in the past. Otherwise, it would violate the entire tenor of the New Testament teaching on salvation by grace and not by works.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Notice here, for is not present or future tense like it may look but is past tense. After we repent our sins have already been remitted because we have been babtized (submerged) into the authority of the name. (the name shows His divine nature and Holy Character) of Jesus(Savior) Christ (Anointed) and we are ready for the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 when read in the Greek is saying (be submerged into the Divine Nature and Holy Character of The Anointed Savior for the remission of sins. This is not water baptism but spirit baptism. The focus here is not water but Spirit submersion and saturation.
Peter was out to get them saved and filled with the Spirit not to get water baptized, although they did do that also, later. Notice in Acts 2: 39 Peter said the promise was unto them and there children and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. The promise is not water baptism but it is the Promise of the gift of the Holy Ghost.
So the word for in Acts 2:38 and the word into in Ga 3:27 is the same word in the Greek.

If we take Acts 2:38 the word for and Ga. 3:27 the word into and change these two words to unto it shows the true intent of these two words. As we can see this Greek word Strongs Concordance # 1519 εις eis ice ==== is translated into 330 different words in the new testament.

Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms( Baptism in this verse is Plural), and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
In Hebrews 6:2 it shows Baptisms not Baptism. Like you said spirit soul and body. Our spirit was submerged into Christ (Past) and our soul is being transformed by the Holy Ghost (Present) and we shall receive a new body and be like Him. Ressurection (Future)
Baptism is not only a submersion but also a saturation must take place. There is more than one word in the Greek for baptised.
1st = baptizo bap-tid’-zo Strongs # 907
2nd = bapto bap’-to Strongs # 911
The first one # 907 most of the time speaks of Spirit and the second one # 911 most of the time speaks of water

# 911 bapto should not to be confused with # 907, baptizo. The clearest example that shows the meaning of baptizo and bapto is a text from the Greek poet and physician Nicander, who lived about 200 B.C. It is a recipe for making pickles and is helpful because it uses both words. Nicander says that in order to make a pickle, the vegetable should first be ‘dipped’ (bapto) into boiling water and then ‘baptised’ (baptizo) in the vinegar solution. Both verbs concern the immersing of vegetables in a solution. But the first is temporary. The second, the act of baptising the vegetable, produces a permanent change. The pickle is not only submerged into the boiling water to make it ready for the saturation of the vinegar solution until it changes from a cucumber to a pickle. The water submersion was for a short time but the vinegar submersion take a long while before it transforms the cucumber into a pickle. Thank God our God is a longsuffering God waiting for our transformation.
Pslams 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
God cannot transform us an change us into His image unless we allow Him to submerge and saturate us with His Spirit.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1Corinth 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Corinth 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Corinth 15: 51 an 52 is the future tense which comes at death or ressurection.
2Corinth 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
